FIRST!
Remove Source of Ammunition
Clear Chamber and Safety ON
Read & Understand these Instructions
-
Remove bolt from receiver & set aside.
Note: Huber trigger has a current
provision for “Bottom Bolt Release”. OR use
supplied Allen Wrench ( 1/16”) 1st
Stage length adjustment tool) to operate left
top-side Bolt Release lever.

Remove Barreled Action from Stock/Chassis
for access to trigger mount pins.
-
Using supplied Slave Pins (to secure old
trigger intact when removed), and your Punch
(UNDERSIZE 1/8”)
(<.118”/3mm recommended), Drift trigger
mount pins, Rear pin First, Right-to-Left,
to position slave pins through trigger only
and liberate receiver bolt release Lever &
Spring. Drift front pin Left, align slave
pin in trigger and remove old trigger from
receiver (trigger) well.
Caution: Not to damage bolt stop, at front
pin left side, by drifting front pin left after
removing
bolt release lever.

Place HUBER trigger in trigger well of
receiver & sliding Safety handle along
Receiver, align and re-pin Front mount
pin-First.
Clear pin-left
end -of release lever slot in receiver. Slave
pin will fall free.
Re-install Rear
pin from left, securing bolt release Lever
&Spring, securing trigger
and displacing
slave pin. Top Bolt Release Lever will continue
to function properly. If sear inadvertently
released – with allen wrench, tend sear spring
into pocket from rear under sear.

Re-install bolt and close action.
FUNCTION CHECK:
Set Safety to SAFE, attempt to fire- Should NOT
Fire. Safety blocks trigger
prior to the 2nd stage and lifts
sear.
Set
Safety to FIRE, attempt to fire- should FIRE
thru 2-Stage function.
Recommended
Nominal 1st stage length are set at
the factory and can be
adjusted for
tactile sensation. Should never be set shorter
than the Safety interface threshold prior to
2nd Stage function.
Trigger remains
loaded thru shot & follow-thru and should return
to base. Trigger CONNECTOR re-cocks as bolt is
opened and cycled or SAFETY to ON.

Re-Install Barreled Receiver into Stock/
Chassis.

CARE & CLEANING
For your
HUBER CONCEPTS TACTICAL 2-STAGE TRIGGER for
Remington 700
pattern rifles. HUBER Triggers are designed
to operate DRY. But, KG-5 lubrication is
recommended for normal situations. As the
trigger is an important component of the rifle
and your discipline & proficiency, Care &
Cleaning should follow along with your regular
rifle maintenance routine. Triggers are not
immune to weather & environment, neglect and
abuse.
The current Huber trigger has provision for
Lower Bolt Release Lever actuated in front of
the trigger. The 1/16” Allen wrench, supplied
for 1st Stage Length adjustment, can
also be used to operate the left top-side Bolt
Release Lever.
Recommended Cleaning solvents and lubricants
BRAKLEEN, MEK, TCE, Alcohol, other high vapor
pressure, rapid evaporating
Cleaning
solvents -
Avoid ammonia
KG-5
REM-OIL
Compressed Air/ Canned dry air (computer
cleaning/dust remover products)
Trigger: Out of stock/chassis, mounted to
receiver, Window and all exposed areas
Trigger: Out of stock/chassis, Not mounted to
receiver
Top access –
liberate rear sear pin, allow sear to rotate up
- on front sear pin to inspect and clean
internals or thru side window. To close sear;
using Allen wrench from rear, tend sear spring
into sear spring pocket, re-pin and confirm full
sear travel when trigger pulled fully to fire.
Triggers are shipped lightly lubricated with
KG-5 for “break-in”. Subsequently, trigger can
be run dry or lightly lubricated. Adverse
conditions may necessitate more frequent
inspection and cleaning.
Lightly LUBRICATE with KG-5 (SHAKE WELL)
